Yeah, I’m here. Hi, everyone. Been awhile. I know it’s 2024 and it’s been a year since something has released. My bad. I needed to fully step away and focus on some personal stuff in a more direct and focused way. None of that could be posted while I dealt with it. None of it will be posted now. So, we’re going to say I took a personal sabbatical that required me to step back from being in front of the world. It’s true. There will be no more information about why I wasn’t around for a year.
I’ll say that I’m glad to be back in the right place to write this blog and post it. I’m glad that my friends around me have loved and supported me during my public absence.
And I’m glad to come back with NEWS.
First off, I’m writing a book!
It’s a book you want!
It’s got a cover!
So pretty! It feels so good to show off another cover after so long!
But no preorder yet, sorry y’all. Or a blurb, which will come with the preorder. Or a release date, which will come with the preorder. I’m waiting to get to a certain point, because my last couple of preorders were messy. I hated having to push them back. In fact, I wasn’t allowed to make a preorder with Amazon for the last year if I had been in the place to with a book ready to go and the headspace to get writing done, because I had to push back those preorders. So, this time, a preorder will go up when I’m fully ready to have a preorder up.
Bear with me. It’s like learning to ride a bike again. It doesn’t take as long as the first time, but there’s a period of fumbling and remembering exactly how to keep one’s balance.
With Jacky 10, SCARRED RESOLVE, being the next book, that means I technically skipped an Everly novel! Don’t worry, Everly lovers (I love you so much), Everly is next.
This year for me is all about getting back on the horse. I did this song and dance a year ago, and I did it too soon because life wasn’t done with me. I was speaking from wanting to please everyone, to prove I could just get through things like I always had before when it wasn’t going to be the case last year. It wasn’t feasible. I shouldn’t have put that on my own shoulders. I won’t again. Next time I feel the need to take a longer time away like this last year, I’ll announce it. I’ll tell everyone how long I’ll be MIA, and doing just that.
For those of you still with me, thank you. Thank you for either loudly or quietly supporting me with comments, kind emails, and being gentle with the people who have been speaking for me this past year. Thank you for believing in me. I’m not dead. I’m not running away from these worlds. The one we’ve built as a community or the ones I write. They live with me just like they live with you and now it’s time to have fun living in them again.

Welcome back. We’ve missed you. Whilst I love Everly I’m absolutely stoked we’re getting Jacky first.
So happy to hear you are back and in a good headspace. I’m sure there is many people out there who can relate and understand the need to take a step back and breath. It takes a strong person to overcome struggles and find themselves on the other side so I just want to say congratulations and don’t ever loose sight of who you are or how you got to where you are.
I can honestly say I’m practically vibrating with anticipation of you’re next release in the Jacky Leon world. It’s a story that has kept me coming back time and time again. I love the audio books and find myself completely immersed in the world everytime I listen and read them. Your writing is inspiring and I look forward to more great releases.

Welcome back 🥰 and I hope you had a good much needed rest. I am really excited for any book that has to with Jacky or Everly. I can’t tell you how many times I have listened to their books over the last year… I lost count. Anyway love your stories and worlds and will always be happy to wait for them.
Oh my goodness I was literally telling my partner about you yesterday, I found the tribunal archives less than 3 weeks ago and have completed all of the books that have been released so far, upon finishing them I went deep diving to find more and was completely gutted to find there was nothing and no recent blogs. Good for you for taking the time for yourself as that’s what matters most. But so so looking forward to continue escaping into the worlds you create!

Welcome back! I also had a rough 2023 and I’m hoping 2024 is better, but I don’t want to put too much pressure on it because I don’t want to give it performance anxiety. Re-reading your books honestly got me through a good chunk of the year, and I will appreciate anything you have the bandwidth to write. Keep taking care of yourself. We’re all human and we get the need to take some time to deal with life.
Just glad your centered again. It’s hard to get it back when lost. It’s something to be damn proud of when you find it again. I know I have lost mine a few times too. Life is rough, no joke, and sometimes the world doesn’t give us a choice of ourselves.
I hope everything is now okay. I hope *even if for us not knowing* that everything went as well as it could have. I really hope it wasn’t anything extreme. However I fear it was and honey for that, I am heartfelt and heartsick sorry. I am glad your back and I can’t wait for the new Jackie. Thank you for another gift.
