It’s right there in the title.
I decided to give myself and my wonderful team of people an extra month with Secrets and Ruin. I know it’s the second release I’ve postponed in a row.
Secrets and Ruin is a really important book to me. I have been waiting for it for a long time, knowing different pieces of Jacky’s story was headed for this moment. Postponing it means I have to wait longer to share it, but it also means I can make extra sure it’s ready for all of you.
It’s a terrible way to start 2023 and I hope it’s not a trend that continues. It’s hard to get back on track when so many things have knocked me down, but postponing is better than cancelling, and I have no intention of walking away from anything I’m writing. Things are just taking longer and I have to accept that.
This is also why there’s no Everly Abbott Book 4 Preorder yet. Nor is there a solid schedule for 2023. There will be, hopefully sooner rather than later, but not yet. Until I can feel like I can properly commit and make sure I get back on track, though, I’m not sure I can post too much in terms of preorders or exciting news.
With all the love I can muster, I want to say thank you for continuing to support me and following my work. It means the world to me.
take the time to make it right for you as an artist. I will enjoy it when it arrives.
You do whatever is needed as we fans can wait. XOXOXO
Don’t worry about it. Your books are worth waiting for. Hope you get the support you need to allow you heal and to feel better soon. Rx
Defo don’t mind waiting x
Absolutely don’t mind waiting can reread 20 more times before the new book comes out
Hey 👋 We will still be here and will wait patiently until its ready. Its better than pushing it out early just to keep dates. You worlds are wonderfully spun and I know all of us would rather its late and keep the amazingness that are your books, than have them early and miss something. Life happens and it knocks the stuffing out of you without a time scale or end date. No matter who you are. tc x
If you need more time with the book then of course we want you to have that time. We love your stories & characters and the amazing ability you have to bring them to life. The wait time doesn’t matter. Your personal well-being and doing the characters justice (even if it means longer periods between releases) is what’s important. Take the best care of yourself you can please! And thank you for continuing to write your beautiful stories
I absolutely love Jacky Leon – please take all the time you need. I will eagerly read it when your ready.
I look forward to both books when you think they are ready. Take your time 🙂
Thank you so much for keeping your readership informed. Life can be terribly challenging and the fact you are doing your best despite the fact it has been knocking you down is appreciated. It seems to me authorship’s only rewards are an uncertain income and feeding the author’s need to express their imagination. I sincerely hope that you are being rewarded with at least some personal satisfaction for your efforts.
