You’re getting a Jacky Leon audiobook before the next book has released!
This means: we’ve caught up. We can get faster, but we’ve caught up.

Enjoy! As for me, I’m going to be enjoying more Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker. I’ve beaten Main Scenario already, now it’s all about that daily/weekly content!
I bought the audible for Royal Pawn, unfortunately it’s not Royal Pawn it’s actually Shades of Hate… Some how audible has loaded book 5 instead of book 6…
We’re aware of the issue and are trying to resolve it but it seems to be on Audible’s end.
Also, some are reporting it goes to the correct book at chapter 2.
Great book, again! I follow Tribunal Archives on audiobook, and really love your work. Thank you for such an escape! I have been listening to both the Jacky and Kaliya stories exclusively (meaning audiobook only). The latest audio release for Kaliya, “Monsters” has me on pinhooks for some of what will come (is there a later one released on audio that I may have missed?). I checked my audible account for weeks anticipating the release of Royal Pawn (I’m sIo happy your narrator is safe and recovered from her accident!). Which is part of why I was pretty (ok *majorly*) bummed to hear parts of the endings of Kaliya”s story -and that of others in her books- in the Royal Pawn audio release. Where can I go to look up spoiler alerts? There are still 3 Kaliya audiobooks to go, unless there are a few audio releases I don’t know about…and I’d like to keep myself from getting surprised with a spoiler. I get that being a fan who only consumes the material via audiobook has it’s drawbacks. I will keep listening to both series until they are finished. I’m just wondering if there is a place that we audiophiles can go to for spoiler warnings that I may be ignorant about (because I’m new to your world)? Thanks again for the amazing tapestry!
No, there’s no place to go to look up spoilers of a specific nature. You can find spoilers, however, in Spoiler Blog Posts (which spoiler the book they talk about, the most recent ebook/paperback. These started very recently) or Spoiler Events in my Facebook Reader’s Group (The Banet Pride. The events spoiler the most recent ebook/paperback release as well.)
Kaliya’s audiobooks are behind because I only began sending them into production this year (due to her low sales compared to Jacky Leon. I knew they wouldn’t pay for themselves so I held off until enough Jacky Leon had come out to make it financially viable). Reborn (book 4) will be out in early in early 2022, Legends (book 5) shortly after that. Then everyone will be waiting for Destiny (book 6) together. The quickest an audiobook will every come out after an ebook is probably what my narrator and editor achieved with Servant of the Blood (Everly Abbott 1 and the third series of the Tribunal Archives). We were able to get it out only 2.5 months after the initial release. If you want a series that could potentially give you no series, that’s the one. We’re trying to get to that pace with every series, but with Kaliya, obviously, that’s impossible.
You can always look at my website in multiple places for information on when things could release such as the Release Schedule or the FAQ. You can also reference the Tribunal Archives Timeline to see where books are in relation to each other. You can also read through the massive backlog of blogs by their categories. You can also use the search bar at the bottom of the website in the footer.
But I will never, as the author, give anyone a pre-book warning about crossover content. Another fact is, I have four times more Jacky Leon readers/listeners than I do readers of both series. Lemme tell you, they did not care that this Kaliya chick was around. In fact, they would have rioted if I tried at all to protect the readers of both series(they have even told me so).
I just can’t promise you this will never happen with other series. I will say, Royal Pawn’s Kaliya crossover is the only one for that pairing. Others are more after one series is over and during another series. I just couldn’t(and would never) delay Jacky to publish 3 more Kaliya Sahni books so I could continue the Cassius/Brion story line in the perfect order. I won’t do it in the future depending on whoever might be cross over. Jacky won’t crossover with every lead, neither will Kaliya or Everly (you should give her a try). Connections are spider webs or that fun theory of six degrees. You just never know who is connected to who (though there were plenty of hints about the connections about Jacky and Kaliya’s social groups. We knew Cassius was the son of Brion, we knew Jacky was connected to Brion and he was coming back. Clearly the two worlds were about to clash. Kaliya wasn’t going to be surreptitiously not mentioned. Sorcha and Cassius are her best friends)
This one was very helpful. I understand not warning about crossovers too. That would be… anti climactic? I appreciate being directed where to go. Trust me, I would *love* to read rather than listen. But, right now audible is all life will allow me for this. So, I am extra appreciative that you took the time out of what must be an insanely hectic schedule to explain this to me. Now I can continue to listen with a lense of enjoying the world as a whole, regardless of when I get certain details.
Well….almost a whole. I haven’t started Everly Abbot get. I’ve listened to all the Jacky Leon twice, and just re-started Kaliya to hold me over. I’m….a bit narrow minded I guess. I’ve been leery of starting Everly Abbott bc I’m so into the internal struggles and ….almost agelessness of Jacky and Kaliya….Everly seems so much younger and …not like the other two (pathetic of me, I hear it) in the first couple chapters. I’m realizing as I’m typing that I’m stereotyping but….I teach college freshman, and this term was a doooozzzzyyy, so anyone who seems under the age of 30 is automatically on my last nerve for at least a few more days until Winter break gets really under way. Ok fine. I will re-download Everly and try her again. I really do love these stories and the rich world you created (I even downloaded that anthology so I can maybe actually *read* your short in it). They help me get out of my own head. So, my long ramble over…thanks for the insight and clarification. I will go in eyes wide open for future books, no expectations regarding what I think of as spoilers. Thank you again.
